Monday, October 17th, 2022 – Oxford Martyrs’ Day Chapel and Lecture

Join us on Monday October 17th for our Oxford Martyrs’ Day Chapel and Lecture. Chapel begins at 12:30 PM. Our lecture this year, “The Oxford Martyrs as Models of Christian Virtue,” will be delivered by the Rev. Dr. Michael Niebauer. Dr. Neibauer completed his Ph.D. in Systematic Theology at Duquesne University in 2019 and holds an M.A. from Wheaton. He is the Rector of the Church of the Incarnation in State College, PA. His book, Virtuous Persuasion: The Ethics of Christian Mission, was published this summer by Lexham Press. Dr. Niebauer has published numerous papers including: “Martyrs as Models of Missional Virtue,” “Towards a Contemporary Ethic of Christian Persuasion,” “Mission Amidst the Immobile: The Nursing Home as the Body of Christ,” and “Cyprian, Augustine, and the Anglican Communion: On Church Unity.”
