Summer Courses

RESeminary has a number of course offerings throughout this summer. Courses are planned to be offered in-person as well as by zoom. The Rev. Tanner Moore will be teaching HT 714 British Reformations, as an intensive course the week of June 28. In this course students will come to a greater understanding of one of the pivotal moments in the history of their faith through the role that popular religion played in the economics, power, and daily lives of those in constant conflict over their souls in the formation of the Church of England. The course includes an analysis of the late medieval origins of the reformation in England and throughout the sixteen century.

Tanner Moore holds a B.A. from Miami University, his M.A. from the University of Cincinnati, and is working on completing his dissertation for his PhD in Church History from Purdue University. Tanner is ordained in the Reformed Episcopal Church in the Diocese of the Central States. Other course offerings this summer include Foundational Hebrew and Greek Review with Rev. Forsberg, Foundational Greek with Dr. Gohl, and Anglican History and Polity with Dr. Riches.
